Elegant and Sophisticated Chess T shirts - Please provide feedback on the design

Hey guys, I'm close to launching a new website featuring my T shirt design ideas and I would like to get some feedback on one of the designs. I'll post more of them in a subsequent post if I get permission from chess.com to post my website URL.

The designs are fully custom and created from scratch. I handle all the design work but I incorporate feedback from my wife who has a lot of experience with marketing.

I carefully selected the best t shirt material which is very durable but also very comfortable. My goal was to create a higher end product with some sophisticated designs to pair with,

Ultimately I'm putting this out to get some feedback on the design from the market to see if there are any changes which need to happen before launch. Thanks for your time.

God bless you brother! I like what you doing! I really would appreciate a motivational quote with a Pawn a King and two knights. "In every move/moment give your best and NEVER give up"

Here's an updated design. We are making changes including dropping The Poetry of Chess and embedding the photograph more.

The pictures look great - but is there a way to remove the border? Currently it looks like a "large sticker" if I'm being honest. I think if there was a way to better blend the edges of the image it would look even nicer. I hope that's helpful

I agree to a certain extent. There are designs shown above without any borders.

However, some designs do not lend themselves to that kind of treatment. You lose too much of the context otherwise. Without seeing the position with the board above, then you don't see what makes that Octopus knight what it is.

I'm investigating ways to break this border, but simply using the t shirt as a canvas is not possible when working with a professional photo that is elegantly edited. It's a design challenge.

Here is the new concept of the White Knight. I recreated this whole design from scratch incorporating feedback I got from the participants in this thread.

Thoughts?
