This set arrived today at my home in Peoria, Illinois, USA from Mexico City, Mexico.
While I am not at home, my wife opened it and she loves it. My wife is a 3rd grade teacher with students 8 & 9 years old. She tells me she believes this set will be a big hit at the Chess club I run at her school with the kids.
Fantastic. I hope the children enjoy them very much.

Yes.
I find this set to be much nicer than I expected it to be. In the pictures the pieces looked like a hard plastic that could chip. Instead they are made of a hard rubber. And it looks like they are going to hold up quite well.
And the pieces and board are bigger than I thought they were going to be.
It's great.
Also the grade school has a Spanish teacher. I am going to give the DVD to him to use with the kids.
All in all this is a pretty high quality set.
New version of ESNAJ Toon's chess set.
Maybe in solid colour. But the material is still the same hard rubber.
