This is a thread for the nostalgic:

I've found an old video where is shown (just a few seconds of the video) how the pieces were made from indajesa.

Min 10:14 you can see the making of a spanish style bishop a chavet knight and a spanish tipical knight.

at the end of the video (min 13:20) there is a shot of the original 1987 Sevilla set! Easy to recognize because the queen has the ball on her head!
