After having played with the Dominator set for some time now, I have more thoughts about it.

The shapes of each piece are good, but when bound together into one set, they are not in harmony to each other. In another word, the size of each piece are not well proportioned. Queen is too small in the corona and also too low in the height. The height difference between Queen and King is almost 20mm, one of the most in 4" sets. The diameter of Qeen's corona is so small, even smaller than Pawn's head. The Queen just disappears from the board even being the most formiddable piece. Rook's turret is too wide and thin, Bishop's mitre is too narrow and slippy because of the weight, Pawn's head and collor are just huge, making them look much more important than their merit.

I think I should choose that Sinquefield set over this Dominator set in the bigginning. And I just found out designing a good chess set is really not a easy job.
