I know ChessPad 2 fairly well and like it a lot. Even though I have Chessbase and Fritz, I often use ChessPad 2 because it's fast, easy, and capable.
I've seen Lucas Chess recommended quite a bit and it appears to be a good program, although I haven't used it much.
Like you, I love the Chess.com editor -- the best webapp editor I've found.
I love chess.com's game editor for my chess students. But sometimes, living in Central America, I don't have internet. Is there a similar program that is user friendly and free? I have arena chess, but it constantly freezes and is not nearly as good editing games. Any ideas for me???
