i have a dumb question, does anybody know how to analyze a position in fritz, without actually having to go through the hole game?

I'm pretty sure there is an option called 'Infinite Analysis' that analyzes a specific position. In my program, Deep Junior, it's under the menu 'Game'. Not sure if that was what you were looking for.

There's a feature called "deep position analysis" under "tools" and "analysis"
