Fritz 17 - Anyone find it just overall to be annoying to use?

I made an entire blog post of all  the things I find frustrating about it.

Thanks for that, I’ll carefully read through it. I got Fritz 17 last week, it’s pretty clunky. I like the game evaluations so far. Chessbase website is clunky and herky jerky too. The pieces move with a thud- I far prefer chess.com for playing!

By evaluations I meant analysis

Agreed.  So very worth the gold membership each year.  I  got suckered into buying Fritz 17 for the openings training, which Chess.Com is lacking.  But It is so awful.  I bought Fritz 17 three weeks ago now, and keep getting so annoyed with how it works.  I spend more time trying to figure out the software than actually using it for its purpose.

You could look at the chessable website for opening training, if you haven't done so already.

I saw someone there while browsing twitch a few days ago and created an account.  Im on the fence about getting a pro account.  I've been watching youtube vids, reading wikipedia, etc, and practicing lines to learn.  Not sure I like that so many courses there are $15+

Agreed, I just have a free account on there. But there's a lot of free stuff, plus you can use it to create your own courses in order to learn your own lines.
