Fischer's king looks pretty unsafe.
The white knight on g5 is misplaced, and the black bishop on g7 or g8 is missing. Also, the black knight looks to me to be on d6, not d7, the black pawn on f5 and the black rook on f6.

Agreed. As shown, White mates in 2. But I like your concept, D2!
that's why there are other threads. You've got gg threads, knights versus bishops, does the colour of your skin determine your endgame technique, should an upturned rook also be granted the knight maneuver. Should stalemate be outlawed ? Who could ask for more ?

Because Bobby Fischer was rather outspoken and a tad controversial, and as such is an easy target/subject/device for trolls, trouble-makers, malcontents, know-it-alls and "experts" to stir up flame wars and acrimony.
