Oh, for reference the above photos are on a 2" board - pieces are probably a little tight for that for most people's preferences (but I think they're totally playable).
FS: 1950 Dubrovnik repro in boxwood / mahogany stained from Royal Chess Mall
Sort:
This exact set here: https://royalchessmall.com/collections/dubrovnik-chess-set/products/1950s-fischer-dubrovnik-chess-pieces-only-set-mahogany-boxwood-3-8-king
The photographs are quite accurate, even down to the 'distressed' look of the dark stain, which is most noticeable on the knights and rooks (as seen in the website photos).
@Powderdigit did an excellent writeup of these exact pieces, complete with excellent photographs as well, over here: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/1950s-style-dubrovnik-review
I added some of my own photos in that same thread (post 76, on page 4): https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/1950s-style-dubrovnik-review?page=4#comment-96865465
And here are a couple more, just for good measure:
Selling because I ended up purchasing a different Dubrovnik repro (from Oldset ... ) and cant justify keeping two around. There are attributes of this set that I actually prefer, but the Oldest version is now irreplaceable, unfortunately
I will probably regret saying this but I would possibly be open to trades, particularly for smaller 'analysis'/'library'/'travel' sets or pieces... Let me know if you have any interest, say around $140 + shipping?
