I forgot to mention the colorful and artistic trim around the board, I think it’s very cool and I really like it

Very nice. I like that while the border is colorful and stylized the actual playing surface remains simple. Makes it more practical for playing. Are the pieces felted?

Felt can be easily added, but I’d suggest waiting. You may want to learn more about this specific set before any alterations. Just my humble $0.02 worth. Being a clay, they might possibly scratch the playing surface without the felt is my thought.
Yeah they aren’t for playing, just for decoration I feel but I do have a nice lardy board that I use for normal play and study, which I will display later when I return home

It will be a few hours before I can get back home but I will display my lardy when I get back I promise
My mom got this little board for me when she was in Costa Rica, and while it's too small to play on and it can be hard to tell the pieces apart, I think it's a very cool little set. All the pieces are hand-sculpted with clay and were also hand-painted. Here are some pictures, and yes I'm aware that the eyes look ridiculous.
I quite like the rooks, and I love how blacks (black is the Indians white is the Spaniards) are llamas, this ridiculous little set made me laugh when I got it, and I hope it made you have a little chuckle yourself, Cheers!
