G Butterman Chess Board
Interesting, because underneath that link I get suggestions for all his other boards. I'll post each link here for you, let me know what happens.

ah - confirmed. Managed to see them by using VPN into US server and not logging into ebay... @Glen - any chance you'd consider making these available to Canadians?
My chessboards are printed in USA by a very large USA company.
I'll place another walnut burl board on ebay and you can caluate mailing fees.
Glen B.
i'd be happy to buy one if you're willing to ship to Canada, Glen... Right now, they all look marked as "US Only"...
I ended the walnut burl listing on Ebay because they can't seem to handle selling to Canada without all kind requirements.
My email address is: gbutterman@roadrunner.com and I will answer anyones question on buying directly and cost to anywhere. Yes, it is more costly internationaly, but I will give you the mailing cost to anywhere and you can decide if the chessboard is worth my total cost.
Glen B.
Right now you are buying direct. If a middle person comes in what he will save in a larger production "might" be eaten up in the markup of the new seller. Maybe Glen himself can bring the cost down to $15 in a large run of a popular color such as green/white(buff). That would be a great price point for that board.
green/buff has always been the leading color seller for vinyl boards. When the mouse pad boards came out they were expensive and could not be stored easily and also stained. This is a great product and it's hard to tell unless Glen chimes in how many he has to order to get a decent price break and if it can be divided up between a couple colors. If he had to make one universal seller it would be green/buff I would think but I am sure he can make custom colors for anyone for an extra fee.
I have this board folded in quarters for 4 weeks at a time and I use it for chess club. This board is great and I don't have the heavy smell of the old mouse pad boards either.
Well, Glen is going to a manufacturer and paying what anyone else would pay, retail to the manufacturer. He then has to add a bit to that price.
If he could somehow get that manufacturer's price down, we would see cheaper prices.
He is having the boards digitally printed and not screened as all the others. I believe this process is what is more costly.
I think Black/White is becoming more popular than Green/Buff from what I am seeing and I attend local tournaments at least twice weekly in the Boston area.
I have eight different boards at lower prices on Ebey under gsbutter. I have about 40 in inventory and will order 100 in one color next which will lower my cost greatly. You can also order directly and pay through PayPal friends system. For anyone wanting quantiles over 100, use my email address for pricing and information.
Would think the basic green and buff would be the all around best seller for color? Goes with everything. My black pieces get lost on a black and white board.
I have the marbled brown and it goes great with all color pieces, wood or plastic. If you use wood pieces it's almost like you're playing on a nice wood board. Glen says it's his best seller. I can see why.
