Getting PGN from SCID

So I click "get PGN" at one of my games, and SCID (4.2.2) opens and displays my game. Now, how do I copy the game from SCID so I can post it on chess.com? I found the "copy game to clipbase" but that does not seem to work. Thanks.

The Copy-game to clipbase should work ... try pasting it in notepad and you would see the PGN.

The other more obvious way is to copy-paste it directly from the PGN Window (Ctrl-P)

  1. Open the notation window
  2. On the left of the window tab (next to the word "Notation"), you'll see an arrow which opens a drop down menu
  3. Highlight "File" and choose copy game to clipboard.

ps: Clipbase is a temporary database, not a clipboard.

I use it frequently. I keep my Big Alex database updated with TWIC in weekly. Now I've got around 2.3M games.
