Yes  it was one of the best Twilight Zones since I remember it well. 

For a nicer set, I really like these knights from the Caballus set at Chessbazaar.

I'm a german knight fan myself, however my favorites are most definitely the Dubrovnik Knight and the knight from the deluxe old club set on the chess store

Talk about coming late to the party, for a few dollars more the Chess Piece has been offering their 4.4" Chetak set in bud rosewood for the last 10 years.
