Nice find on the B-210! Let's see for how much they go for.

As for your set, I still believe it's a genuine Chavet.

Yea, it doesnt look like any
Chavet. The pieces whose picture you showed are the standard kind of cheap polish wood chess pieces. They’re made in Poland by a company called Wegiel. The one you have in particular is on the smaller side and cheaper.

Did someone sell you this set telling you they are Chavet or whatever?

No it is not a Polish made hornbeam set. It is a size 4 Chavet and looks like every size 4 Chavet ever made:

The board above has 47mm squares for some reason. It's an old Dal Negro board.

bit crowded on 40mm board...

Audioq

Nice. Should fit perfectly on a 45mm+ board.

B-204, interesting... I still believe this set is around 20 years old, mainly because of the design of the King's cross and logo stamped on the box. The older sets have the same logo as the image from my avatar.

The simplicity and elegance of Chavet is unmatched in my opinion. Enjoy the set!

Hi All

Would anyone be able to help me identify this set please?
