Hippie Chess Set

A rarity set "Two in One".
One side with a classic design burned in the wood , the other side the burned design is a kind of an "hippie chess" with advanced design.
I reckon this set as a beautiful Dutch 60s.
Strange, curious, but one of the most beloved pieces of my collection.

That's a pretty groovy set. Is it just as easy to play the pieces flat to the board?

Well The Rook is the Castle of  one chess dream party!

I love the Bishop! The "Sioux" hair, and the piercing in the ear, show us that chess is something like  a "drug"!

Oh, I used plenty of "imagination" once...back in the 70s.
