How can I use Stockfish on a Samsung Galax Q?

I've downloaded it, and also the Chess For All GUI, but when I run Chess For All it says "engine paused (not connected)". I've selected Stockfish as Engine 1 and 2. Despite that, when I turn off auto-connect and try to connect manually it says "engine not found". Android 2.2 (as high as this phone will go). What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried Droidfish? It's an Android port of Stockfish that comes with its own GUI. Works fine on my Android 2.3.5 phone.
