I own one. It's permanently set up downstairs in a spare room :)
How Many Chess Sets Do You Own?

Two. One is a cheap black and white travel package and the other is a mahogany vs pine wood colored set in my study.

Three. Tournament set, a smaller wooden folding set, and a miniature fits in my purse wood/magnetic set.

10. 1 pocket set with magnetic discs for pieces. 1 tiny magnetic wood travel set. 1 Chessmate Travelmate set. 1 set of small wooden pieces from my great grandfather and a small vinyl board to use them on. 1 small plastic set for analysis. 1 cheap chess in a tube set. 1 larger plastic set with 2.25" vinyl board with brown and white squares. 1 House of Staunton weighted plastic set and 2.25" vinyl board. 1 House of Staunton Reykjavik II set and wooden board. 1 Chess Bazaar Dubrovnik set of pieces in search of a board.

Two plastic scholastic sets for on-the-road tournament and blitz.
One small wood set (2" King): 'German Knight' set for analysis
Two wood tournament size sets (3" King): Russian set, 'German Knight' set.

One luxury set from Chess Bazaar (it resembles the Blood Rosewood/Boxwood Varese pieces from HoS).
One chess cafe set for my Drueke board (set has boxwood pieces, rosewood pieces, and ebonized pieces).
One tournament set.
Two folding travel sets (one magnetic, one not).
Soon-to-be one boxwood/ebony Drubvonik set for my Drueke board.

Probably 15 or so. Probably three reasonably nice ones and a bunch of junker plastic sets for the club I run.

I'll count them up at the end. 3 ebony and boxwood generic Stauntons (3",4", 4.5") 2 HOS (a very expensive Sheffield and a cheap tournament), a modern minimalist, 4 magnetic folders (2 12' and 2 7"), a small French Drueke, a pair of wooden folders, 2 plastic HOS collectors, several crappy "fit in your pocket" portables, and a junky plastic analysis. Eighteen. That's not so many, is it?
I'll also count them up at the end. 2 Blood Rosewood HOS sets, Morphy and Zagreb. 5 HOS Rosewood sets, Marshall, Zagreb, Players, Liberty, Championship, and Proline...wait that's 6 not 5. I did just buy the Marshall. 2 Noj sets, Dubrovnik II and BCE. 2 plastic HOS sets, Marshall and Zurich. A couple, 2, HOS Marshall plastic analysis sets. And a good number of portable sets. That's 14, not too bad.

I own 24 roll vinyl with tournament chessmen

1 Display board.
4 wood pieces and board. Small 1 inch king.
1 Formica game board. 4 foot by 4 foot.

2 med glass chess set. I hate them.
I butterfly wing chess board. Made in Brazil around 1930's

2 electronic chess machines with magnetic pieces
2 small magnetic travel chess sets.

I have an American Civil War themed set and a fairly nice (and heavy) plastic set; an inexpensive wooden board and a vinyl roll-up board. I seldom use any of those things.

Plus two small magnetic sets.

If I'm not forgetting anything I have thirteen sets, counting one I have on order for delivery later this spring. I also counted a Civil War set and a crushed stone set that were gifts from some well meaning but misguided folks.
Whoops, make that fourteen sets. I forgot the 3D set I got for Christmas a year ago. It's pieces work very well on the Civil War board. I never use the civil war pieces or the 3D boards though.
I guess that makes 4 plastic, 1 ceramic, 1 stone, and 8 wood sets.

Just one. Eye chess, loubalch, Denver and bad dog, all of you are making me jealous! :P
Muhammad, 16 of those sets were acquired in the last 15 months! What can I say? I simply went 'nuts.' Five were replacements for sets that I sold or gave away. Every time I think I'm done I find another set I'd like to have. I'm running out of room to store them all.
I currently own three.
