To have the Caissa tree, the base must be open.
Probably the best solution is just to open the DB to study, then select File->OpenRecent-as-Tree->Caissa
You can also mess around with Options->SaveBasesasDefault and Options->SaveLayout.
How to make a tree open by default without opening the database itself in scid vs pc

Basically the title.
[IN DETAIL] The picture below shows my current scid vs pc setup. It automatically opens like this. I want the Caissabase tree to open here in the place where it is showing the empty tree, to save labour. However, I don't want the database itself to open, as I want to load my own databases for analysis.
Any help is appreciated.
