How To Win Chess Games Quickly

How I wish I could load a photo of this nice book by Fred Reinfeld. I acquired it from a teacher in high school named Aniano Miranda (I assume you don't know him) who started a chess club in 1993. I never really took this book seriously until many years later, 2014. Anyway, you're probably assuming that I am a very experienced player. No, the truth is I only got interested in chess again and took it seriously in 2011. Before that, all I knew - apart from a certain set-up of pieces - is the value of the pieces and how they move.

I could not upload a photo for the reason being I'm using the Android app. Email me if you want a photo.

Oh my... I cannot post my email address here. I'm sorry about that. And also the Android app had no delete message feature.

"Here is a book on how to take advantage of numerous opportunities to win at chess, opportunities often overlooked. It discusses its subject clearly and concisely, offering some 76 quiz diagrams with solutions. it is a book of great value to the chess enthusiasts." -The Montgomery Advertiser "Sometime ago a member suggested we run a series showing why certain plausible moves should not be made. We now find that this work has been in a large measure accomplished by Fred Reinfeld in his latest book. If you want to find out why you shouldn't make those moves that look plausible and want to win quickly if your opponent does, this book is for you." -The Courier

Reinfeld wrote a lot of chess books - some very good, and also a goodly number of potboilers. I'm not familiar with this book, although the title doesn't give me confidence.

They're not actual GM games. What's the word for it? He just made them up or they're self-compositoms. But they're instructional. It shows Morphy-like combinations. But I haven't applied the examples here - maybe I don't have a good memory or still taking it lightly - only the obscure variation of Philidor's Defense: 1. P-K4 P-K4 2. N-KB3 P-Q3 3.B-B4

Thanks. Mine's exactly like that. No changes in the cover despite being reprinted in 1970. It was originally published in 1956... when Bobby Fischer we still unknown.
