Identifying b210

Hi.

I have what claims to be a Chavet b210 set, which I bought new from a game shop in York, at the end of the nintees. Never really used it. It has a small label on the bottom of the box saying. B210.

[I'd be grateful for any help you can give with regards to confirming it, but I do not seem to have the option to post images to the form.]

Now I've been a member for one week its seems I can now post images - so here it is.

Thanks

Karl

Use the website to post images.

Thanks for your reply, but even the web site doesn't give me the option to add images.

Are you using a Chrome browser? In the text box where you enter comments, aren't there a bunch of icons?

KarlJones37

I have tried Safari and Chrome. There is an icon to add a Chess  match, but not an image.

Maybe because I am currently on a free account?

KarlJones37

Nope its not there

OK just upgraded my account, still cant post images.

You only joined two days ago.  The site may have restrictions on new members posting pictures.

Now the system is letting me post images. It must have been because I was a new member.

Thanks

Perhaps "B-210" is just a sizing reference and has nothing to do with the style of the pieces. I have this set in a Chavet box that is just marked "#6" but my set is tetes simples (no weights or felt) . But your set is the same modern style as mine is. . Interesting.

KarlJones37

Yes, the weights certainly give them a nice feel

Yes my older version Chavet sets have the weights and they are the perfect tournament set in my opinion. happy.png
