In my opinion game review is only useful for making me feel like a genius for doing a brilliant move. Besides ego feeding it doesn’t do much for me

It's actually not meant to do much more. It's all about feedback, not really a serious look at your game... and it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I could easily do without premium but I'm a big fan of this platform and I want to support it. Besides, it's very inexpensive, at most around 50 cents a day, a Diamond membership paid monthly, and as little as around 10 cents a day, the cost per person on the Diamond Friends and Family plan, which is what I have. A single US postage stamp costs 78 cents.

You want puzzles?!

Game review, Insights and "Basic coaching" are just a joke. You should not want any of these. And there is engine analysis for free. Or you can download Stockfish for free.

Puzzles: you have 3 free per day (and even 5 for old accounts). Plus puzzle rush. That's not nothing. You, for example, have done barely 1 per day on average.

In general, there's more free chess material on the Internet than any human can consume in a dozen lifetimes.

Lol who made this post bro you don't pay to get better a GM coach won't get you better unless you do the work. A cheap GM is like 40$ per hour and super expensive. Top GMs are 100+ an hour. You are clearly lazy and are not putting in the work you don't need to pay for it. They have tons of free resources. A chess.com diamond has enough material to at least get you to class A player tbh. You don't get pay to get better but coaching will help immensely

That was scarcastic #46. I am happy I studied. I like Igor too. Friend? #49?

I know, I was just saying that if you are bent on correcting him you should use correct wording. Especially since "the sun rises" is an expression and "the earth rises" is not.

Hi!

You don’t have to pay to get good at chess—you can be a self-made player for sure. But chess is a very difficult game (or art, or science....), and spending a bit of money wisely can save you a lot of time and effort.

There are thousands of resources out there, but navigating them all is impossible. Not everything is relevant, high quality, or suited to your current level and goals.

So if paying a subscription gives you access to good content, useful features, and removes ads—why not pay a little? Maybe you can save elsewhere and invest in your chess growth.

And if a coach can guide you and help you improve faster, it’s worth considering paying them a reasonable fee.

Good luck!
