in search of a particular Drueke chess set

You mean this one?
If so, that’s a Drueke magneticset. You’ll see them on EBay occasionally, but the more common version is the Drueke “Little Jewel”, which has the same style of pieces, but comes in a folding board with a walnut frame. I have one of the type you want somewhere, packed away amongst the collection. Mine is one of the later versions in the cardboard box. I bought it around 1985.

Two have sold on eBay in the past month.

$16 and $50. The latter one being in better condition with original sticker. Looks unused.

There is a scene in the movie "Gravity" where Sandra Bullock's character enters the International Space Station and tries to re-establish communication with Kowalski using the onboard radio... and seemingly out of nowhere a rook from Drueke magnetic chess set floats by her side. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense to have these sets on the space station.

Wow! I would never notice that. That’s a good find.
You and I are normal people, who would never notice anything else when Sandra Bullock in her tight thingies is in full view.
Mister Zagryan, what's wrong with you?!

I appreciate everyone’s thoughtful responses. While Sandra Bullock is a superb actress, she is not my type. I prefer someone older, like...
Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday...
Jane Fonda in Barefoot in the Park...
or younger, like Sodam Park in Parasite.
They would all hold my attention any day. If anyone has a favorite resource on this topic that they’d like to share, I’m totally open to it.

This happened back in 2008:

I would like to have the ACTUAL Drueke in the photo below:
Neat photo. It appears to be a Jacques, not Drueke.
I have this set. It's also known by model nos. 550 and 877.510.
I don't particularly like it. The pieces are too small for me and it's hard to differentiate different pieces. The bishop and the pawn are too similar. Any takers?
Yes, the setup posted by Pawnerai has the bishops and knights in the wrong positions. There's nothing wrong with the chess set, but whoever set it up should have known better.
Also, the board is in the wrong orientation. The lowest, rightmost square should be light, not dark.

@Kaliuzhkin Which case version do you have? Cardboard, plastic, or the wood? I'm interested in the wood one (Post#16) if that's the one you have.
