Weighted Bookmark Holds Books Open

Have you ever been studying a chess book and wished that you didn't have to hold the book open while reading it?  In other words, that the book would stay open on its own, without you having to hold it open?

Well I recently stumbled upon a good solution.....a bookmark weight that holds the book open.... (the product is basically a piece of rubber, weighted at either end.  It is flexible so that it lies flat on the pages of the book when in place)...

Bookmark/Weight--Page holder--Holds Books Open and in Place--BLACK--By Superior Essentials

I recently purchased the Black color version of the product and it works perfectly as advertised. Now I can study my chess books with no hands!

The first product reviewer (Michael C.) on the webpage above had complained that the bookmark-weight he received was not heavy enough to keep some books open.  The company producing the product took action to increase the weight and posted the following reply to his review....

"Thank you for your review.
.....we have updated the product with a newer Heavier upgraded design that is suitable for Hard & Soft Cover & large and small Books.

The amazon stock of the Red and the Black color has already been updated to the new model.
The green one should be updated by June 1st."

Hey Russ,

That's a fantastic invention!  Both of us should have thought of that earlier, eh?

Well, I do have a book holder where the book stands up at an angle for better ergonomics, but I think I'll get this product too.

Much Thanks!
