Are they made of Bakelite?

Dr. DS, they called the plastic “Fenolite.” My understanding is that it’s a plastic derived in part from phenol, as is Bakelite. Whether one is a form of the other is beyond my pay grade.

I'm not sure that Bakelite as such is ever that pale.
