EXCELLENT !!!!
Thanks people, that is exactly the same book authors, I just could not remember their names .
I did try to looking for it on google, but like I said, could not remember the authors names, and I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of different results. That's why I thought I would try here, and it worked.
Thank you both so very much, I really appreciate it.
Hi everyone, I need some help remembering the names of two authors who worked together at one time to publish a book titled "An Introduction to Chess"
I let someone borrow this book, and unfortunately I cannot recall who has my book at the moment
.
All I remember is the title "An Introduction to Chess" and that both authors are themselves chess players. One was American, and the other was British. Both of them had also published other books on chess, although I think this one book I have was their only work together.
Not entirely certain, ( my memory is a bit hazy ) but I think both authors were also grandmasters, but like I mentioned, I am uncertain if my memory is correct regarding this.
The book was originally published sometime between 1945 to 1985. It was one of the very first chess books published that not only had diagrams about how to make the moves but also with pictures of the step by step process of each and every move made.
It was not a thick book .... roughly about 100 pages, perhaps a bit more.
Anyone reading this, I hope you can help me.
