Take a break for a few days this happens to every one even me
I am so tired

If your intuition feels "dead" and every game only brings more frustration, that's usually a sign it's time to take a break. Seriously — there's no shame in stepping back for a bit.Sometimes the best thing you can do is switch things up: try playing longer time controls (like rapid or classical) where you can slow down and actually think without the pressure of the clock. Or spend some time reviewing your recent games without emotion — not to criticize yourself, but to understand patterns and recurring mistakes.And honestly, even walking away from chess completely for a few days (or longer) can help reset your mindset. Perspective is key.
A step back doesn’t mean failure — it’s often the smartest step forward.Everyone goes through slumps. What matters is how you respond.

I was 1700 blitz. Now I’m 1300. I feel like I’m toyed with I’ll get to 1600 1500 just to fall horribly. My win rate is 60% loss and 40 win. Winning feels rare at this point. My intuition is dead I have no idea what I am doing. I just get angry and more angry. I try to quit and not play but I always go back. from smashing my hand after losing my hand is bleeding and numb. Ik I have to study and work on myself but I end up just playing blitz. I know this game isn’t healthy for me.
I really just wanna stop losing and be able to play this game with moderation.

A "Deep" question for you - (And perhaps others?) What are you avoiding in your life by playing Chess?

Online chess shares many characteristics with online gaming in general. Particularly tilt and obsession. Some tips other gaming creators have shared to help this are;
- Setting yourself loss limits (i.e. 3 losses then stop)
- Trying alternate game modes for enjoyment (chess960 or others)
- Consuming enjoyable content rather than playing (watching fun YouTube channels on chess)
- Understanding why you play and creating objectives around it (if you're aiming to get better, hours of blitz is definitely not the answer)
Everyone is going to have their own personal journey with this, but being aware and trying to implement some changes will be better than not
