I am looking for a green wood chess board (solid green squares).  I have been looking for one online for a long time, and I can't find one.  the ones I have seen, either have not solid green squares or they are not for sale.  Please help

I have the folding version of this Rechapados Ferrer board. A very nice board. http://www.chesssetsbd.com/category/u_chess_sets.chess_board_categories.green_chess_boards/

So if it's stained wood you are not looking for that. As the grain shows through.

Funny how that got deleted. Here is a board with painted green squares. I haven't seen it in person so I don't know how strong the maple grain might be on the light squares. http://www.pleasanttimes.com/chessboards1.html

You can get a fairly inexpensive piece of wood from Home Depot and just paint it (they sell then 24"x24" precut--this one cost me less than $4).  It's actually a really simple project and the board looks really nice when done.  It won't be perfect, but you won't care.  Below is one I made but using a nice red color.  I have a green one I made, also, but I don't have any good pictures of it right now (and I'm at work).  I'll try to add some pics later, and if you are interested, I can post a step-by-step and materials needed guide.

This one is kind of what I am looking for, but they don't have it for sale at their store.  Thanks anyway
