I ask because the first PlayMagnus pieces didn’t so they were relegated to just be novelty collectors items.
Yes, BCE sets and PM official set meet FIDE standards. BCE DGT enabled pieces were used in FIDE 2012 World Youth Championship.

Will the set be PlayMagnus with the BCE design be manufactured in plastic or wood? If I had to guess, it would be plastic.

How did the original PlayMagnus pieces violate official tournament play standards?
