Thanks for the reply. Maybe I should have been more specific about it.. but I mostly do the analysing during some courses etc.. on a specific website. That means I can't really choose the engine they run. For my own analysis, this would be an option of course.
New tablet for chess analysis

If you're using the engine on the website, the demands on the tablet are even lower. Thus, 'ANY* tablet should do.

Well I am just speaking from experience.. on tablet the analysis on that website (not sure if I can name it here) took significantly longer than on my PC for example. Which is sometimes kind of uncomfortable if you only have a limited amount of time to study etc...

I play on chess.com using my old iPad Pro, and use it to analyse as well, with SF and 2 PV's. It still does a very decent job, so to me, yours is a non-problem. Grab one of the latest available Android or iOS tablets, and you're perfectly fine.
If you plan to attach the tablet to some sort of electronic chessboard, now or one day, things change. In that case, I would recommend an Android tablet, and not an iOS one. Reason is that apps like Acid Ape Chess work on Android units, not on iOS.

Hello,
I would like to ask for some recommendations for a new Android tablet.
I like to play chess in the chess.com Android app on my tablet. The problem is that the tablet I have is getting old. It is good for playing, but it is very slow in analysis. And so I was thinking about buying a new one that would have good enough performance to run an analysis faster.
I was hoping someone might be able to recommend a specific model? Or maybe help me in figuring out which parameter would be the most important to look for if I want the tablet to be able to analyze the games fast.
Probably the only two conditions that I have for a new tablet are: 1) It has to be an Android device 2) I want a tablet with at least 10.0" diagonal
Thanks for any help. Marty_092
