I picked up the hand-sculpted chess set and think it is quite fun. It is very well made, no chips or damage, and has the artist's initials "dee" inscribed on the back of each piece.
Maybe it was an art project of some sort?
The King wizards and Queen witches are about 5" tall.
Anyone ever seen anything like it?
