Great video....I had the "rare pleasure"(since these sets are not cheap) of unboxing an NOJ Tal set a few months ago......The mouth watered all the way through the unpacking process.

Great video. That was exactly how my Noj Minceta unboxing went, especially when I found the surprise gift (pen) with my name inscribed in beautiful italics.
No, this was just the standard stain. I asked Gregor about this when I ordered and he told me that they do the stain dark unless specifically requested. I did light these shots in a way to show of the grain though so that might be making them look a little lighter?
Either way the tone looks just right in person... Super happy with this set!

I think people often confuse "expensive" with "overpriced." The set was certainly expensive but seeing it in person I can say that it definitely lives up to my expectations. It's a luxury item and not everyone can appreciate spending any amount of money on something like this. But that doesn't mean that the price is inflated beyond reason.
There are a lot of cheaper sets on the market. But none of them are this particular set!
