Cherry Red NOJ Portorož ‘08 over an American Walnut and Maple Chess board made by Etsy JKCreative Wood. The finish on this Chess board is the best I have seen to date.
@stumOnner Wow. A BCE and a Portorož ‘08? The carving on your Queen is really something special. The top is ever so slightly different than what is in the NOJ gallery. Is this a recent purchase? I always love seeing NOJ sets other than Dubrovniks. I wonder if Gregor spends extra time on these Non-Dubrov sets to flex. And that red stain. Double WOW. Janez has perfected that red formula. @pawnerai - I must have looked at the red photo shoot post a thousand times. This red minceta is pure fire 🔥. Especially how you present it with your pics. I've been crazy busy at work but I wanted to say I do enjoy this post very much. Thanks bananamoon, when I have time I'll post some more.

Just trimmed my flex pad (: I like not just the looks but the extra space it gives while tossing it into a backpack. Surprisingly the top cloth stuck when cutting and didn't detach from the bottom grip material. A few photos of a Black stained maple NOJ BCE over trimmed up flex pad chess board.
