you can download a lot of chess books for free if you just look for them. of course i wouldn't condone such an obviously illegal act, but you know, it's a possibilty.

Very true. However many titles are difficult to find. And if you wanna keep it legal, this is a very convenient resource to use. I just downloaded logical chess move by move, how to choose a chess move and studying chess made easy by Andrew soltis all for 4 bucks. I've seen chernevs logical chess selling online for at least 50 bucks.

Seems like you've stumbled upon a useful site! Make sure the site doesn't give you viruses though.
True, although I don't think it would. Its not a major website like amazon, but it seems pretty legit. Plus I have a mac, and macs seem to never get viruses which is why I love them.
Have you read the legal notice? Juding by it, the site is just a search engine for (probably) pirated material!

Thought I'd pass this along to all you chess book junkies out there. I found this website [MOD DELETED LINK] For 40 bucks you can have a month long subscription and be able to download an unlimited amount of pdf format books from this site. There are tons of chess books available on this site including classics like logical chess move by move. 40 bucks a month seems like a lot, but just purchase one month and just download every book you possibly can. Being able to have dozens of chess books for only 40 bucks is pretty awesome. You can also just do a one day subscription and download one book. So if you are looking for just one book, getting it for four bucks aint too bad.
