Padauk or Bud Rosewood?

I would like to know what type of wood these pieces are. They are either Padauk or Blud Rosewood. They are advertised as “Blood Rosewood” but that’s just a commercial name.

Looks like Indian Rosewood.

SC has a Dubro in that wood, looks similar to your knights, click here for Set pictures.

Also this picture of a set I received with my Drueke board, seems like Indian Rosewood as well.

Those pieces look darker and brown and they don’t have a deep red wine undertone.

Those are beautiful! It's always nice to see lower teeth on knights - that's some real skilled carving. If had to guess (probably incorrectly - no wood expert here!) I'd say Padauk. I'm sure a real expert will be along shortly and help us.
