I bought this book and I am still in the process of reading it. I was just wondering if anyone has read it and I was curious as to others opinions on it. I am not that great of a player and was wanting to improve my game some. Any other books I should check out

I finished reading it about a week ago. My verdict is that it makes for a good basic beginner's guide to chess (even though it claims "beginner to advanced" if I remember correctly). It presented information clearly, although I personally wasn't a big fan of the "dialogue" style.

I know what you mean. Have you read any other books?

I have read part of it and I actually like it!

I have heard that his endgame book is a beginning / basic endgame book but a VERY GOOD book recommended by some higher rated players here.
