Seems that these are always recommended.
Kmoch: Pawn Power
Soltis: Pawn Structure Chess
Marovic: Understanding Pawn Play in Chess
I guess I'll give them a try starting with Marovic.

"Pawn Artistry" by E.A. Furst....
Although written years ago in Descriptive Notation, this book is a gem! It's the only book I have seen that deals exclusively with pawn-based TACTICS. I would say it is exactly what you are looking for - i.e. you asked for a book on pawn TACTICS, which is what this book is devoted to. If you study this book, you will be well on your way to pawn tactics mastery! And used copies (its out of print) are pretty cheap, so it shouldn't hurt to take a chance on it (I believe you will be glad you did)...

On the other hand, if it's pawn STRUCTURE and associated POSITIONAL concepts and technique that is the real issue, then there are a number of books (in addition to the excellent books you've already identified) in the following list that should be helpful to you. In them, pawns are not dealt with so much in isolation, but as elements in the entire fabric of positional-strategic technique. For the beginner/novice I would recommend starting with Bruce Pandolfini's "Weapons of Chess" and follow with Michael Stean's "Simple Chess" - both books deal instructively with the static and dynamic role of pawns in tactical and stratgic planning. Then continue with other books following in the list, when you're ready for more advanced instruction along these lines.

Enjoy!
Is there a decent book on pawn tactics for the beginner? In the past my pawn play is less than stellar and I seem to misplay certain pawn formations that lead to destruction. I'm aware of Kmoch, but that is probably over my head.
Thanks,
Mark
