Carlsen and the gay hairdo should have been a blockbuster, the image of chess as a non-dweeb activity in the real world came under serious threat there.
Polarchess isn't interested in meaningful dialogue about chess equipment and he contributes little to such a dialogue. In fact, he subverts it. For no discernible reason, he blocked RCMacMillan and me, and refers to me as "Mr. Troll." Take a look at what RC and I post, and compare it to what Polarchess posts, and just think about it.
It may well be that Polarchess has blocked himself into obscurity. Of course, there is another possible explanation. It may just be that fewer people are viewing the forums these days. Why isn't clear.
My guess is that it is the V3 redesign which took the forums off the main menu bar.
It might also be that most people lost interest in the forums. It seems like the numbers of games being played and total membership signups keep rising.
How to explain the miniscule total readership in the forum?
Wow! That fat polar chess is sure blocking a lot of the regular posters. I contribute it to low self esteem & lack of confidence.
Yep Chuck, He has issues for sure. I wonder how he got the money to be a Diamond member?? I would gladly pay to be a diamond member But this site won't display correctly for Edge or Firefox so, I won't waste my wampum.
