Try nagaskaki. You can customize almost every single parameter in it. Here's a screenshot -
That was a personality that I created that plays extremely aggresively. You can experiment all day long to get the parameters right. It also comes with 10 pre-loaded personalities.
This is one of the best human like chess program you can find.
Hello,
I know playing by internet is the best option but I don't always want to play by Internet by several reasons.
I usually play against a program almost every week.
The two main programs I use are:
- android shredder: for long games
- Lucas chess: for 10 minutes games
I have a poor performance. Maybe due to my poor level, what I have found is: the program plays well (let say above my level) until he commit one stupid mistake.
In some specific cases the error is completely non human, with a completely irrational decision.
Shredder is the worst one, when I take a piece it sometimes re-take with the worng piece or even it makes an unsound movement.
Lucas simulates a bit better the human behaviour, even in 10 minutes games it wastes time in a "human" mode... taking more time when you abandon theory or when the position is complex. (I found it really funny, a great feature)
Nevertheless it makes sometimes the same kind of silly movements.
I really enjoy the tough games against a module but it is really anoying when you win by a stupid movement.
Now my question:
Do you know any chess program that accomplish the following?
- really simulates the human behaviour in a realistic mode (this is a must)
- auto adjust the difficulty after each game (I could do it manually if necessary)
Anyone to review his favourite chess program?
Thanks everyone
