I recently finished reading Susan Polgar's latest book, Rebel Queen. Personally, I was more engrossed with the storytelling than with "Queen's Gambit" for the simple reason that this was based off a true story of a chess player whose body of work has been teaching me since the late 2000s.

The book gives some fresh and personal insights to Susan's struggles throughout her career as a professional player up to where she is today as an educator - details that could have been scattered as mentions in numerous interviews with various chess magazines and websites if ever.

Anyone can say what they want about Bobby Fischer, but I would also feel proud and honored if I could casually spar against a legendary world champion while growing up.
