At the risk of sounding like Kramnik here, I only block people after a game if they were obviously cheating. And I mean really obvious. The extremely long pause when they're completely lost, followed by them playing like a god — that obvious. For us non-cheaters, the only reason people would have to block us is because they're sore losers, or because we happened to play such a great game that it almost seems like we were cheating, even though we weren't.
Either way, take it as a compliment. You broke someone through legitimate play.
I’ve noticed a frustrating trend where opponents block me immediately after I win a match. It’s usually after a completely normal game with no trash talk or engine use. Does this happen to anyone else? It feels like some players just can't handle losing and use the block button as an emotional shield to protect their ego or avoid a rematch. Is it just pure salt, or is there some other strategy behind it? Let me know your thoughts!!!!
