Red and Black Dubrovnik
@1Lupato, outside of NOJ, if you want an exceptional 1950 Olympiad design in black/red, I’d place a custom order with Mandeep Saggu from Staunton Castle.
For a very fair Minčeta reproduction in black/red, I’d say your best bet is a custom order with Chess Bazaar, though buyer beware. I had to request knight replacements when I went through the latter, but they made everything right in the end. For context, I snagged a Dubrovnik 3.0 boxwood/ebonized set for $82.50 USD during a massive sale.
If I’m not mistaken, ERWoodLeatherShop on Etsy did a one-off Minčeta set upon request, and it came out quite nicely! The thread for which is buried around here (CB&E) somewhere. Exceptional people and craftsmanship close to you. I’m unsure of the cost, but I’d guess they charged $500-600 USD, as carving Minčeta knights is no easy task. Their sets typically range between $400-500 USD.

ERleatherwoodshop on Etsy are the kindest, most helpful people I have dealt with. I just ordered a set with multiple customizations and they made the changes, extra details, 2 extra queens and custom colors, at no additional charge. Everything they make is beautiful.
I have to say, though I am not a huge fan of C.B. the Red/Black Dubrovnik set they made for me (it was a while back) is stunning and flawless.
I have the Chess Bazaar Red dubrovnik 3.0 set. Got it on sale for a very good price. The carving on the pieces is great. The red color is not the great though. More of a medium bright red. Definitely wish it was a darker stain or darker paint.

Janez @ NOJ has mastered the art of mixing and applying red stain
Wow, such a beautiful contrast with the maple!

Can’t you apply a dark red stain to darken it to your liking, and then spray a few layers of varnish to lock it in?
I've thought of that myself. I'm worried I'd mess it up so, I figure to leave well enough alone. My particular set is darker then the one shown. I've sent you quite a few pictures Eva.....Did I cut you off at a red light? I've only gotten crickets.![]()

It’s a nice red!
Sorry about the delay in responding. I love DMs, but for some reason I sometimes get too anxious or preoccupied to respond to DMs or emails for days. I just responded though!
