RFD Japanese Clock

Just received an eBay purchase - a chess clock marked "RFD" with mailboxes as logos on the dials.  It is also marked "Japan" on the dials.  A somewhat unusual "10" on the dials as the "0" is about 2/3 the size of the "1" or of any other number.  It's thick brown plastic for the case, styled like it's made of Bakelite, though I think it's not.   I can't find anything about "RFD" clocks, or really much about chess clocks made in Japan in online searches.  Anyone have any info on this maker or the clock?  Must have been made for the western market with the mailbox/RFD association, and non-Kanji characters.  I've looked at many clocks and have a dozen or so - this is a new one to me.

Today I removed the clock movements, oiled them, and reinstalled them. I found "MeikuClockCompany" stamped on the top plate. Not much of a help - nothing on them on the internet either. Nicest movement stop/start system I've seen however, and the clock movements are good quality as well.
