Superb looking board!
Royal Chess Mall
Hola.
Congratulations for your collection! Seeing that, I wanted to ask you (assuming you are from Spain right?) if you knew any seller with international delivery offering the traditional Indajesa design?

I think some of this if ... Tienda EscaciMat, Tienda Ajedrez21, Reydama...
That is a pretty good Cooke style repro knight. Not Quite Jowly enough to be a Morphy, I don't think.
I think Staunton Castle makes a repro set with a good Morphy knight, on Amazon also for a good price.

Am I nuts? That multi knight photo is "absolute art" to me! Btw, I already know the answer, since the wife reminds me of it daily.-![]()
When I see that 1849 Staunton reproduced set, all I can think of is Smeagol the Gollum. My Precious! We wants it, we needs it!!! ![]()

The benefit of a 2 sided board came up in another thread because someone couldn't decide if they wanted their board to have the grain running vertically or horizontally. In the above pictures it is horizontal grain but if you flip the board and rotate it to keep the dark square in the left corner, the grain will be vertical.
