I don't have it, but the reviews of that book are good.
I do have Pandolfini's Endgame Course . He's a great writer & teacher, far above the typical chess author. What stinks is the quality of printing of Fireside Chess. The diagrams are fuzzy. It's a little hard to see the black pieces on dark squares. Furthermore the book has dozens of errors : there is a list on-line. I like his Endgame Course , but I'm reluctant to purchase another Fireside book.
It passeth all understanding why such a fine writer would choose such a terrible printer/publisher. Perhaps electronic editions will come out and be better quality.
Hi folks!
Would you please say something about this book? I would like to study it. I am a 1300 rated player more o less
