Hello everyone!

i've started playing chess when i was like 12 years old and stopped after a month. now i am 21 years old and i am want to get back to the game and learn everything about it.

i've watched the free videos at the website (everything you need to know about chess 1-4), also i am playing with 3-4 people at a time in chess online.

My rate is about 1220

now my questions:

1. can you recommend to me some books that will help me improve my skills?

2. If there is a method you also recommend for learning please tell me (like app for Android that contains Tactics or something like this)

thanks a lot and sorry for my poor english :)

The best way to improve is to play: again and again and again...

Great!

So i will read the endgame course by silman and eveyones second book.

Just one more question, those books will help change my game from a 'hope game' to a real one? Does the endgame book will boost my skills? Sorry for my lack of knowledge questions.

Thanks!

To improve at chess you need to study tactics, endgames and Strategy. I suggest you buy Chess Tactics for Champion by Polgar, Winning Chess Endgame by Seirawan, and Winning Chess Strategy by Seirawan.
