I tend to try different things but don't have names for them. It's probably not such a great idea to get bogged down with theory when you're still learning basic tactics and trying to avoid blunders.
What is the best opening you can think of?

If your playing with tight time controls such as our over the board standard chess league where you only have 1.hour and 10 minutes for first 30 moves and if you get there it's a 10 min sudden death till flag drops you need an opening that is solid and needs very little thinking so I use The Reti 1.Nf3, followed by b3,Bb2 and follow up with d3,c4,Nd2,e3 I find I can play the first 20 moves without any thought or loss of time and get a decent middle game to boot!👍
Which opening do you use al the time?
