I have one of those too... but I use this one at the club:
Show Me Your Favorite Chess Clock...
That BCE set does look sharp! They take a great pictures too, that picture is from the BCE website, I actually have this version of the same clock (Tuxedo Black and White):
I have a garde but framed in Mahogony like the one used in Spassky/Fisher.
lll put a photo up later today.

Mahogony... ? I have to respectfully disagree on that one as evidenced with this pic... Of course I wasn't there at the time so I could be wrong ;)
agree w/ Robb - Garde clocks were never offered w/ Mahogany frames, although you do see them frequently stained a darker brown. The older Garde models in particular (pre-1970) came in a dark stain w/ a small lighter strip on the front.
I've admired this clock on the Dorland site, Luft. Is it yours? Does it function? Did you find a reference to the maker on the clockworks?
This is my fav... Good ol' fashion German mechanical Garde...
Got that one too. Classy but no one uses analog in tournaments anymore.

if they only made a digital chess clock that went, tick tock, tick tock.
That would be horrible. I remember playing in large tournaments in NYC during the 1970s, with well over a hundred clocks ticking in the same room at the same time. All together, they made quite a lot of noise.
