This is a beautiful set with a nice design. Where did you source the originals from?

You can find them relatively easy in Germany from time to time e. g. via "kleinanzeigen".

Unweighted 1970 Dubrovnik in Golden Rosewood / Boxwood (from ETSY AntiqueChessCrafts) 👌🏻

Customized 4.0” KH Unweighted 1849 Jacques Reproduction Staunton Chess set (in rosewood & boxwood from AntiqueChessCrafts) 😊

Please, curb your enthusiasm. But it would be a nice set if it came with a board...

How does the unweighted set handle ?

Great looking set "thepatriotbraveheart", just one question....Was it a misprint or some kind of mistake that they printed "Kingside stamps" on both Knights and Rooks? That seem like it would be as confusing as none having stamps. Never saw that in a set before, just curious! Either way, good looking set my friend.

DesperateKingWalk

If the set was just pack incorrectly with 2 stamped rooks and knights. I would get the replacements. If they only made all their knights and rooks with stamps. I would not have bought the chess sets.

This is a reproduction you paid for after all. And that is a big error in the chess set you received.

Here is how the chess set should look...

There appears to be a 9th pawn in the picture. @thepatriotbraveheart is this a stowaway that you discovered after the package arrived?

bishoppairchess

This is one of two of my sets. Imperial Knight

It feels ok, not very light as the pieces are taller and chunkier with wider bases, they don’t tip over easily. 👌🏻

Not misprint or error in stamping 😊 I specifically requested for the knights and rooks to be stamped, all of them, for a change. 👌🏻 I did the same when I ordered their (ACC) Sinquefield set (again in rosewood and unweighted), I prefer all my knights and rooks to have stamping. 😊

I intentionally requested for them to be stamped. 😊

I am also surprised when I saw an extra pawn when I opened the box. 😂

thepatriotbraveheart

I also like ACC’s 3.4” Staunton Series (Jaques Pattern) Chess set (in rosewood unweighted) 👌🏻 The smaller version 😂
