Mine are the Reykjavik chess pieces.

2022 Reykjavic photos. They are still the same, no damages etc.

Wow! Looks beautiful.

Wow everyone here has really beautiful chess sets.  All I have is a small analysis set.. old & simple & cheap.  I found it at the Goodwill secondhand store. There’s an endgame study presently on it:

I don’t have someone to play with irl so I haven’t bought a set yet but I absolutely adore the Printworks set, sky color

MCH...That's a very nice looking set and board....Knowing you quite well,I'm not surprised.....You're a man of significant chess skill and apparent good tastes......A question---

The board in post #157....did you have it mounted on what looks like some kind of dark plexiglass platform? How did you get it to look that way? Clearly something special, imo.

Hmm? Time to get rid of the cat.wink

My wife has some family members I wouldn't mind throwing to your cat!tongue

From Aliexpress. The King is almost 4".

DeDEtlev67

That is a cool chess set. The gloss finishes chess pieces on a matt finished board pair well.

My 1950s on a 55mm BCE 4 part magnetic board. . . .

Lovely stuff @krames - the pieces ‘pop’ off that blue board!
BoardMonkey

I'm also checking out your books. Nice space for chess.

Thanks @Powderdigit And @BoardMonkey, here's a better look at my office, or like you said, 'space for chess' and all the books . . .

Those are mostly strategy and game collections

The bookshelf on the left os all openings and the books to the right of my computer are Nimzowitsch (he's my all-time favorite), Jonathan Rowson - amazing author, and a few others I like to have handy

And the French Defense gets its own section, it's a real love hate thing w me . . .

Legend Products, Kings Indian.

Very nice!

Nice pieces, @Pawnerai, and I love the photos, @Krames. I feel I must also clarify that my thumbs up emoji is for the photos and most certainly NOT an indication of support for the French Defense section.

Seems like a nice set to use for otb bug/crazyhouse.

@lotsoblots…..
I’ve been on a steady stretch of c5 vs e4. I think it’s finally starting to stick :)

Mate - a ripper office - thanks for the view. I’ll say this much…. You’re fitter than I am…I ran a marathon 5 or so years back - man, that was tough. You ironmen are in a different league…. Well played sir! I’ve just started running again now … I could not run even 2 km’s now but I’ll be back to 5 km park runs soon enough. 👍
