It will take several photos to show my small chess library of perhaps 500 volumes. These eight shelves show more than half. It’s an old photo from 2020.

A more recent photo showing most of my 55 endgame books.

Quite grand

Tartakower, Timman, Tal- Weeramantry, Rowson, Watson- Müller, Jussupov, Sosonko.. I made some space to spread some old chess magazines else resting in cardboard boxes. I like to read my chess books, I just haven't gotten very far, yet.. Invisible chess moves, Fit im Endspiel, Chess Openings for Kids happy.png

Nice collection. I had about 50-60 books but had to sell most of them some years ago. I've been away from the game a while but am hoping to find a few used ones to pickup sometimes soon. I have one rarity but it's not a book, it's a Russian Chess Magazine Bobby Fischer himself used to own. One of the few "collector's items" I've held onto over the years.

Nice personal libraries!

I’m happy that my local library (in Colorado, USA) stocked so many volumes. It helped me not only learn of all the accepted rules, but of complex tactics beyond a fork.

Grateful for tax dollars being well spent in my community.
